Very easy to grow and care for and generally trouble-free, flowering reliably year after year and increasing in size.
Thriving in moist, humus rich, well-drained soil, they are ideal for adding to cottage garden style plantings, shady banks and slopes, or underneath trees and large shrubs, where they will freely naturalise, creating a carpet of colour – plant in odd numbered groups to achieve this natural look. Once they have finished flowering, divide large clumps to get the maximum amount of flowers the following year.
